I'm BACK

 Hey guys! Sorry for not updating in a while! I am very busy with school. I might not be updating as much but I definitely will at least once a month! BUT that doesn't mean I have nothing to share, so let's get strait into it!

  The past weeks have been slowish UGC wise. I got a couple of deals but they were all gifted. Oh well, everyone has good and bad weeks. But one thing that I have been really focusing on is to not act greedy, and here's why.

  I have a client ask me to do a complete re shoot, and I was a little bit annoyed so I told him I would have to charge extra. Looking back, this was not a good thing for me to do because 1) I've worked with this client multiple times and if I want to remain a positive relationship between us, I would have to look past the money sometimes 2) I failed to deliver ;) and instead of trying to improve my video I was too obsessed with being paid that I forgot about my image. Lesson learned.

  Also I keep on trying to get more and more brand deals, and when I don't get a brand deal I feel disappointed. Instead I should focus more appreciating what I've already got. 

  Other than that though, it's going really well! I just know I'm only going to get better and better. But right now my biggest goal is to feel happy and comfortable being where I am, not always trying to go somewhere I think I be happier. 

  I'm also really excited for Halloween and the holiday season :)

My goals:

- stop trying to rush ahead, make the best out of where I am

- enjoy the moment!

Week 4 (Special: Time Management!)

Welcome back to another UGC blog post! This week's blog is about time management- a very very important skill to master! As a UGC creator (or any other type of freelancer) it's hard to keep track of time since we don't have a set schedule. This can easily lead to a unhealthy work-to-life balance. Week 3 (Speacial: What is UGC?)

Welcome! If you don't know already, my name is Julia and I'm a teenage UGC Creator. Before we get started I must tell you, this week's blog is a very special one!
